Police Looking for Information on Bethel Woman Missing Since March

Bethel - State Police continue to look for information on a Bethel woman who hasn't been seen since early March.

Fay Johnson, 62, was last seen in Bethel on March 7th. She was in the process of moving into a new apartment.

Police say she has a number of health issues.

There has been no activity on her bank account or cell phone since early March.

This week police were tracking a report of a woman resembling Johnson who may have been seen along Alfred Street in Biddeford.

Police continue tosearch for missing Bethel woman

BETHEL, Maine — State police and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to seek the public’s help in the search for a Bethel woman who has now been missing nearly two months.
Fay Johnson, 62, has been missing since early March, Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said in a statement Thursday.
She was last seen as she was in the process of moving into an apartment. Her bank accounts and cellphone have had no activity since she was last seen March 7.
Johnson is 5 feet 7 inches and weighs between 140 and 170 pounds. She has several health problems, including bipolar disorder, according to McCausland.
Johnson also wears a medical alert bracelet marked “pacemaker.”
Police believe Johnson has ties to Lewiston and Biddeford. Anyone with information should contact state police in Gray at 1-800-228-0857.

BETHEL, Maine (AP) _ Maine police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 62-year-old woman who was last seen while moving from Lewiston to Bethel nearly two months ago.
Law enforcement officials said Thursday that 62-year-old Fay Johnson (right) was last seen in Bethel on March 7 and that there are concerns about medical problems. She has a history of mental illness and wears a medical alert bracelet marked “pacemaker.”
Both Johnson and her car are missing.
Johnson is described as 5-foot-7 and weighing about 140 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Police say she has ties to both Lewiston and Biddeford, and police are investigating a recent sighting of someone resembling her two days ago in Biddeford.
