BETHEL, Maine — State police and
the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to seek the public’s help
in the search for a Bethel woman who has now been missing nearly two months.
Fay Johnson, 62, has been missing
since early March, Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said in a
statement Thursday.
She was last seen as she was in the
process of moving into an apartment. Her bank accounts and cellphone have had
no activity since she was last seen March 7.
Johnson is 5 feet 7 inches and
weighs between 140 and 170 pounds. She has several health problems, including
bipolar disorder, according to McCausland.
Johnson also wears a medical alert
bracelet marked “pacemaker.”
Police believe Johnson has ties to
Lewiston and Biddeford. Anyone with information should contact state police in
Gray at 1-800-228-0857.

Johnson is described as 5-foot-7 and weighing about 140 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Police say she has ties to both Lewiston and Biddeford, and police are investigating a recent sighting of someone resembling her two days ago in Biddeford. |
